Shabbat July 4th Celebration-No Services Today! BBQ picnic…
/Shabbat Shalom!
This Shabbat is the 4th of July! As this is a big one, America’s 250th birthday, we will NOT be having our regular Shabbat service at the congregation building. Many in our community will be out of town or celebrating with family and friends. HOWEVER, the Cornell family (Dan, Stephanie and Morgan) have graciously invited us to be at their “farm” in Pine, west of Denver, beginning at 12pm. They will be having a picnic with burgers, chicken etc, and their property is beautiful! Bring a side dish and let’s celebrate together! Their address and directions are below:

As you may have heard, I Pastor Stew) had a pretty serious medical episode this week. An infection in my toe went to the bone and caused sepsis and I was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday. Praise God, they were able to stop the spread of the sepsis and I will be released from the hospital hopefully today (Friday)! Honestly, it was a pretty scary thing and could have gotten much worse in a short time. Fortunately, My incredible wife Millie and my wonderful neighbors were able to get this stubborn guy to ER, as it was a life-threatening event. God is so good and we thank you so much for your prayers! They did do a partial amputation of the toe but it should not affect my walking or dancing occasionally! I have to stay off my feet for a while so I may have to miss the July 4th picnic, and believe me, I really wanted to go.
You can give your First Fruits and other donations by going to www.or-chaim.com or mailing a check to Or Chaim, 1658 Deer Creek Rd, Monument CO 80132
Shalom and Blessings,
Stewart and Millie
