Shabbat Shalom June 20, 2026

Shabbat Shalom!

As many Jews and citizens of Israel today, my heart is sad and very bewildered. Not because Israel has been abandoned by God, that can NEVER happen, but because our nation is seemingly abandoning Israel. The Prophet says, For thus says the Lord of hosts, “After glory He has sent Me against the nations which plunder you, FOR HE WHO TOUCHES YOU TOUCHES THE APPLE OF YOUR EYE.” And so many other Scriptures talk of the unique place that Israel has in God’s heart, and that neutrality is not an option when it comes to support of this nation, the ‘Segulah’ (cherished personal possession of God). Many years ago during the 6 day war, Abba Eban the foreign minister of Israel stated at the U.N., “As we looked around us we saw the world divided between those whom were seeking our destruction and those who would do nothing to prevent it.” Things do not go well for our nation when we throw Israel under the proverbial bus! Yes, I am very concerned about the words that I hear coming from our leaders who will make deals with an evil regime under the influence of the principality of the “prince of Persia”, at the expense of God’s people and His land! As I know that many of you are intercessors and lovers of Israel, I ask that you cry out for Israel and our nation at this crucial hour (Isaiah 62:6-7).

We invite you to come out to Or Chaim this Shabbat, June 20th, as we lift up the mighty name of our Messiah Yeshua! Our service begins at 11am, and we meet at 16800 W.9th Ave Golden, 80401. It is appropriate that the Lord has put on my heart to share an incredibly important message, WHY CARE ABOUT ISRAEL?  I had the privilege to share with several Australian Christians the other day on practical ways to bless the Seed of Abraham, and to see how Australia is awakening to the mandate to pray for the peace of Jerusalem! As we have been exploring the power of Covenant and the authority of God’s word, we see how the Holy One has always worked with a ‘remnant' who continue to be faithful to Him in the face of challenges, and this a a day of challenge! We will have a potluck Oneg following the service, so bring a dish to share and stay for fellowship.

We look forward to seeing you all this Shabbat, and we want to encourage you to invite a friend or a neighbor, especially as we exalt the wonderful Name of Yeshua!
