Shabbat Oct 4, 2025
/Shabbat Shalom!
We have just completed the 10 Days of Awe with our commemoration of Yom Kippur last night, as we gathered together for a wonderful time of breaking the fast. What a special time it is when the whole community comes together, in obedience to God’s command to keep the Mo’Adim, corporately acknowledging our absolute dependence on Him to be our atonement and our very life! Millie and I just want to thank everyone who went out of their way to make this very significant and meaningful High Holiday time. Russ and Siri for opening their home and for their hospitality, David and Laura and the dance team for their hearts of worship, Mike for his incredible gifting behind the scenes in video and technical support and so many others. It is especially during these times of special gatherings that we realize we are very much a family! Thank you all!
Fall is certainly my favorite time of the year, with the Feasts but also the gorgeous Colorado weather and colors! The leaves are turning and beginning to fall, warm days and brisk evenings with beautiful mountain views, I just love it! Come on out and join with us this Shabbat, October 4th, as we gather to worship our King Yeshua! We are meeting at 16800 W.9th Ave Golden, 80401and we start promptly at 11am. I have been sharing recently on the subject of Impartation, and will continue this Shabbat on the Conditions of Receiving Impartation: Awareness, Desire, Empowered, and I believe it will be a very important message as we explore what the Scriptures say about it. Of course, we will have a potluck Oneg following the service, so bring a dish to share and stay for great fellowship and table discussions.
The Feast of Succoth begins at sundown Monday, October 6th. Or Chaim will join with other Messianic and Christian communities next weekend to celebrate this awesome Feast! We will be gathering at Castlewood Canyon Church, 389 N. Castlewood Canyon Rd.Franktown, beginning Friday October 10 at 6:45pm, under the Succah! Those who want to camp out for the weekend or bring an RV are more than welcome. We will be blessed to have Rabbi David Katz, Rabbi Alex Yalenga, Pastor Jack Serr and myself as speakers. Shabbat service on October 11th will begin at 10am, and Or Chaim will be leading the service! Go on to our website to see all the details for the weekend, including meals and times.
