Chag Sameach-Yom Kippur Kol Nidre
/Shalom,
We are coming upon the “apex” of 10 Days of Awe, as we commemorate YOM KIPPUR this Wednesday evening October 1st at 6:30pm. We will be meeting at 16800 W.9th Ave. Golden, 80401. This is a solemn Appointed Time, as we corporately confess our sins, break vows and proclaim that Yeshua is our perfect and final atonement for us individually and as a community! ALL ARE WELCOME TO PARTICIPATE! We will read from the Scriptures, worship and recite ancients prayers as we joyously celebrate the Lamb, sacrificed for us! Following the service, we will enter into the Biblically mandated fast in obedience of the command to humble ourselves.
On Thursday October 2nd, we will gather at Russ and Siri Crider’s home to “break-fast” and enjoy a community meal together. Their address is 22493 E. Maplewood Ln. Aurora, 80015 and we will start gathering at about 5pm, with a short celebration starting at 5:30 as we end the Yom Kippur fast, and then join in a wonderful meal together! Please bring either a main dish (hearty soups are wonderful at this time of year!) or a side dish, salad or dessert.
As you all know, this is an incredibly significant time of the year, and with all that is happening in the world around us, I believe it is so important for us to gather as community, stand as ONE and declare boldly who our Yeshua is! So, come on out and let us be faithful in keeping the commands of our Lord and let us enjoy being together as Mishpacha!
Yes, we will be having our regular Shabbat service on October4th!
Blessings and Chag Samaech!
