Shabbat April 25, 2026
/Shalom Mispacha!
I have noticed over the years that the things we complain about like traffic congestion, the price of gas and groceries, higher taxes and corrupt and hypocritical leaders, really takes a toll on our emotional well-being. Many times these things we can’t do anything about become the focus of our lives! Last week at the Holocaust remembrance gathering, I was reminded by survivors what real suffering is, and how blessed we are in all that we have. These survivors (children or teenagers during the war) were stripped of their possessions, family, their way of living and even their identity as humans. Yet, they not only survived they overcame and did not let the evil overtake them! It really put my perspective of things in a different place. It is so important during these stressful times, with so much violence, antisemitism and evil all around us, to be grounded in the Word of God and our true identity in Messiah!
Come on out this Shabbat April 25th and join us as we worship our King Yeshua! We meet at 16800 W.9th Ave Golden, 80401 and we begin at 11am. This week I will be continuing our study on Covenant, and will begin looking at the Davidic Covenant. I am finding it to be so rich and so relevant for us to understand today! All of us look at the life of David, the giant-killer, worshipper, and mighty king and learn so much from his life — the good and the bad but also his love of the Lord! WE WILL HAVE A POTLUCK ONEG FOLLOWING THE SERVICE, SO BRING A DISH TO SHARE AND STAY FOR FELLOWSHIP!
