Shabbat 6/28/2025 Honoring the Life of Judith Williams

Shabbat Shalom!

Another whirlwind of a week! We got home from Shabbat last week, turned on the news and heard that our military basically destroyed Iran’s nuclear facilities, coming alongside Israel in a big way. As an American Jew who loves Israel, and as a veteran who has served in the armed forces, I was proud that our nation came alongside Israel in It’s struggle against the evil that has come against Her. The war is not over (even as many would claim), as the demonic forces realize that their time is short and Yeshua WILL return as the Lion of Judah, our Triumphant King, and I believe things will get even more dangerous before His return. I encourage you to read Revelation 12, where it describes a war between the dragon and the “woman who had given birth to the male child” , clearly representing Israel (the woman) and Yeshua (the male child). This war rages on throughout history, it is certainly not a “one and done”, and we as the faithful remnant need to be aware of the enemies schemes and tactics and stand strong during these days! Not trying to be a “downer”, just reminding us of the battle we are in and also the HOPE we have in Messiah for today and forever! In that same chapter it says, “They overcame Him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives even in the face of death.” (Rev.12:11). I encourage you all to be strong in your faith, devour His word, and boldly proclaim His Kingdom!

This Shabbat June 28th will be a special service at Or Chaim! We will be honoring and celebrating the life of our dear sister Judith Williams. She entered into her heavenly reward on May 19th, and we will have a special time of remembering her and blessing her family. Our service will begin at 11am and our address is 16800 W.9th Ave Golden, 80401 and all are welcome to attend! We will have a short Torah service (which by the way, Judith loved!) and wonderful worship with our friend Lynne McDowell, followed by a delicious meal! The main dishes will be provided, but you can help by bringing salads, side dishes or desserts. As we celebrate Judith’s life, its a mixture of sadness because we miss her and also a time to rejoice that she is forever with the One she loved and worshipped! Come and join us!

We are working on rescheduling the Joshua Aaron concert for a Saturday or Sunday evening in July or August. So, stay tuned as we are working out all the details for that special event. Joshua was finally able to leave Israel, and his family is safe, all is well. The concert is free, so if you have already registered you will be notified of the new date, and if you haven’t registered, you still have time! There is no charge and we will be taking up a special love offering for the ministries in Israel. As you can imagine, it has been an incredibly intense time for Israelis, living in bomb shelters, not able to congregate or enjoy the everyday things that we enjoy. Actually since October 7th 2023, the people of Israel have suffered and endured much and we need to keep praying for them as their lives have been turned upside down! Also pray that the entire region; Jews, Arabs and Iranians will encounter Yeshua and that revival will sweep over the entire region!
