Shabbat Shalom Simchat Torah
/Shabbat Shalom and Chag Sameach!
What a wonderful season of Feasts we have had! Last week was awesome as we joined with Castlewood Canyon Church to celebrate Succoth with their church family and our special guest Sally Klein-O’Connor. Much joy, anointed worship, great fellowship and lots of food and good teaching! In line with the season we are in, it is also a time of miracles, as we witnessed this week in the skies over the Middle East! Am Yisrael Chai!
This weekend brings a close to the Fall Mo’adim with Simcha Torah. A time of joyous celebration of God giving Torah to His people. Come on out to Or Chaim this Shabbat, as we honor our beautiful Torah with a processional around the sanctuary! Our address is 16800 W. 9th Ave Golden, 80401and we start at 11am. I have been thinking a lot about the days that we are living in. The world says good is evil and evil is good, and yet the Scriptures I read describe a righteous and holy God that never changes and is always faithful. So, my message this week is simply, One Jew’s musings on the End Days. Maybe it’s just my understanding of Scripture, but I think it is important to talk about this. Bring a notepad as I will be looking at several key Scripture. WE WILL HAVE A POTLUCK ONEG FOLLOWING THE SERVICE, SO BRING A DISH TO SHARE AND STAY FOR FELLOWSHIP.
This Monday, October 5thwill be a special time of remembrance for the Israeli lives lost on 10/7/23. We will be joining with the Jewish community and we will STAND WITH ISRAEL TOGETHER, JEW AND GENTILE! This event will be held at Resurrection Anglican Church in Greenwood Village. The address is 9250 E. Belleview, and it will begin at 7pm. Come early to get a seat!
We want to encourage you to be faithful in bringing your First Fruits offerings before the Lord. You can go to our app at Or-Chaim.com or mail checks to 16800 W. 9th Ave Golden, 80401
Shalom and Blessings,
