New Year 2026 Shabbat Shalom
/Shabbat Shalom and Happy New Year!
We used to celebrate New Years Eve with parties, a little craziness and a bad hangover the next day. New Years eve this year was quiet and somewhat reflective, culminating with communion and worship to our God, and a sweet nights sleep! Millie and I are not big on resolutions that are usually broken within a week, but we do have some desires and hopes that we are looking forward to seeing fulfilled in 2026. Our prayer for you is that you and your family will experience greater intimacy with God, fruitfulness in your lives as you abide in Him and incredible breakthroughs that will glorify Him in you! Make this year a year of “feasting” on His Word and experiencing His goodness in everything.
Come on out to Or Chaim this Shabbat January 3rdas we worship our King and welcome the first Shabbat of the year! Our address is 16800 W.9th Ave Golden, 80401 and we begin at 11am. I will be sharing a message that will set the stage for what God wants to do in us and Or Chaim for the rest of the year. The message is entitled 2026; A YEAR OF RADICAL OBEDIENCE! The key to this kind of obedience is simple yet profound … experiencing His love! There is an impartation that we need to receive but find it difficult to live out. We will have a potluck Oneg following the service, SO BRING A DISH TO SHARE AND STAY FOR FELLOWSHIP! Invite your neighbors so that they can experience a Messianic Shabbat service and learn about this wonderful day that is a gift from the Lord!
Next Shabbat January 10th we will have our dear friend Bishop Eugenio Mwebia from Kenya sharing with us during our morning service and also at the Dwelling Place in the evening at 5pm! This man is an incredible evangelist and visionary for his nation and has a heart to see all of Africa reached with the good news of the Kingdom! Many of you have supported this ministry over the years and you will be blessed by him, so invite others to come on out and hear him. We will also pray for Pete and Linda Doty as they will be moving to South Dakota to be with family, we want to bless them as they go!
