Shabbat Shalom
/Shabbat Shalom!
Most of us enjoy the summers here in Colorado, at least where I live! While it may be skirting 100 degrees in the Denver Metro area, we here in Monument enjoy the mid-eighties. As I prepare for Shabbat, I am excited about the things that God is and will be doing! Not just in our personal lives, but also as I see world events through the prism of His Kingdom priorities. Always, and I learned this through His Scriptures and also as Millie and I have lived in the Middle East and have spent so much of our lives focusing on Israel, God keeps His covenant promises to His land and His people! The Scriptures tell us to not fear the things of the world, and Yeshua says, “Shalom I leave you, My Shalom I give to you: but not as the world gives! Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid. (John 14:27). Be encouraged in this day, He is a faithful God who keeps His promises!
Come and join us this Shabbat, July 12th, as Or Chaim Congregation celebrates our Lord and spends time in His presence! We are meeting at The Dwelling Place, 16800 W.9th Ave Golden, 80401 and we start at 11am. The Lord has given me a different message the week as I want to focus on the calling that we have in Isaiah 62;6-7, to CRY OUT FOR THE RESTORATION OF ISRAEL, AND GIVE THE LORD NO REST! Well, we will explore what that means for us as a Congregation, and also for the international body of believers. WE WILL AHVE A POTLUCK ONEG FOLLOWING THE SERVICE, SO BRING A DISH TO SHARE AND STAY FOR FELLOWSHIP! Next Shabbat, July 19thwe are excited to announce that we will have at Or Chaim New York Times bestselling author Joel Richardson share with us! He speaks on topics related to Israel, Islam, Anti-Semitism, the End Times and God’s heart for the peoples of the Middle East! You will not want to miss this special service! As a matter of fact, invite your friends and neighbors to this event. Also, remember Joshua Aaron will be at The Rock Church in Castle Rock on Sunday evening August 24th at 6pm!
Continue to pray for the upcoming outreach trip to Kenya and Tanzania! We are still in need of finances as we want to be able to bless the orphans, the school in Mlolongo, and the many churches that we will be visiting. Stephanie Schureman will be traveling with us and ministering to children in “Fire Camps” and teaching these precious folks how to hear the voice of the Lord, and walk in His gifts! God is moving there and we want to be part of what He is doing!
Blessings and Shabbat Shalom!
