Come Worship with Sally Klein O’Connor

Shalom Mishpacha!

I am reading through Torah and was struck by the reminder that Moses brings to the Israelites in Deuteronomy 10. As he recounts their travels in the wilderness before they enter the Land, he reminds them of their rebellions and disobedience and how God calls them “stiff-necked”, and, well you know the story … but God’s incredible covenant love breaks through! Moses reminds the people, “So now, O Israel, what does Adonai your God require of you, but to FEAR ADONAI YOUR GOD, TO WALK IN HIS WAYS AND LOVE HIM, AND TO SERVE ADONAI YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL …” (V.12). It is a reminder to me and should be to all of us that He never gives up on us! I want to encourage you to be consistent in your time in His word, pray without ceasing and continue to trust Him in the things you have been contending for! Even in Israel’s disobedience, Adonai was reminding them to trust in His character that will never disappoint!

This Shabbat March 29th will be a special time at Or Chaim as we celebrate together. We are meeting at 11am at The Dwelling Place, 16800 W.9th Ave Golden, 80401. We will be blessed as a long-time friend of Or Chaim, Sally Klein O’Connor will be joining us for an inspiring and worshipful time in the presence of Adonai! Sally and her music have been instruments that God has used to woo hearts to Himself and bring healing to many who have been broken by sin and sorrow. She has an incredible testimony of overcoming hardship and experiencing God’s mercy, so come on out and invite others to join with us. We will have a potluck Oneg following the service, SO BRING A DISH TO SHARE AND STAY FOR FELLOWSHIP!

The Passover Seders are filling up fast so if you have not already signed up, please do it this weekend! There will be two Seders at The Dwelling Place, April 12th at 4pm and the 13th at 3pm. Also, Castlewood Canyon Church will be hosting a Seder on Sunday the 13th at 10am, that Millie and I will be leading, and all of them are $25. This will be an amazing ‘Appointed Time’ as we recount the story of God’s miraculous deliverance of Israel from Egypt and our own freedom from the power of sin! All are invited and so invite your family members and friends for these special times.
