Shabbat Shalom!

What a great week this has been! Last Shabbat was an incredible day as we celebrated the lives and ministries of two women of God who overcame great odds and who walk in powerful anointing, as they give God all glory, honor and praise!  Thank you, Sara and Sally! We also celebrated the birth of this great nation on the 4th of July, which allows us to worship our God in relative freedom and to proclaim that this is truly “ONE NATION UNDER GOD”! It is also a time to reflect on His goodness and all the promises He has for us individually and as a nation, but that we are living in a time when these freedoms we have can be taken away if we don’t stand for the values that made the USA great. With all the craziness going on around us, and the ease in which people criticize and lament the founding of this nation and it’s “original sins”, I am proud of who we are and know that God has a special calling on this nation! I have lived in other nations, travelled to around 40 countries and am quite concerned that too many folks take liberty for granted, and fail to realize how easy it is to lose this precious thing!

This Shabbat, July 6th, I want to continue on the theme of MOVING IN THE GLORY with a message on FAITH. Everyone has faith in something, did you ever think about that? The scriptures are pretty clear though, if my faith is in anything other than God, I’m a fool! We will be exploring this realm over the next few weeks and I am so looking forward to it! THERE WILL BE NO ONEG FOLLOWING THE SERVICE THIS WEEK BECAUSE OF OUR CONGREGATIONAL PICNIC ON SUNDAY. THERE WILL BE NO TORAH CLUB THIS SHABBAT!

SUNDAY, JULY 7TH FROM 11AM TILL 5PM, WE WILL BE HAVING OUR OR CHAIM CONGREGATIONAL PICNIC AT LIONS PARK IN GOLDEN. WE WILL HAVE A GREAT TIME OF FOOD, FELLOWSHIP, MESSIANIC DANCING AND MUSIC! WE WILL MEET AT THE EAST PAVILION AND OR CHAIM WILL PROVIDE BURGERS, KOSHER HOT DOGS, CONDIMENTS AND DRINKS. PLEASE BRING A SIDE DISH OR DESSERT OR BOTH! WE WILL BE HAVING SOME ACOUSTIC MUSIC WITH LYNNE, WILLIAM, AND A DEAR FRIEND OF OURS, AVNER BOSKEY! WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO THE DANCING AND SONGS AND WANT TO ENCOURAGE YOU TO BRING FRIENDS AND YOUR FAMILIES! THE WEATHERMAN HAS ASSURED ME THAT THE WEATHER WILL BE GREAT, SO BRING SOME GAMES AND A TAMBOURINE OR WHATEVER! WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO BEING YESHUA IN THE PARK, SO PRAY THAT HE WILL BRING PEOPLE WHO WILL WANT TO KNOW WHO OUR GOD IS!
