Shabbat July 1, 2023

Shabbat Shalom!

It’s so good to be back home after a wonderful Tikkun Leadership and Family Conference in Maryland! Along with David and Laura Aronstein, we were challenged with messages with the theme of “HINENI”, and with what we believe God is saying to us in the Messianic movement worldwide. Overall, I would say that what we heard loud and clear is that we are in the end days, and it is vitally important to be proactive in our efforts to reach the lost and hurting with the Good News of Messiah, especially among the Jewish people! Millie and I were able to share about the initiatives we are involved in here in our region and in Africa, and it was well received by all who attended. These are truly the “Days of Elijah” as the classic song goes, “Declaring the Word of The Lord”, as we boldly and confidently cry “Prepare ye the way for The Lord!” We look forward to catching up with you all this Shabbat!

This Shabbat July1 st as we gather at the Dwelling Place at 11am, I will be starting a new series of messages entitled A JOURNEY WITH RUACH HAKODESH: INTIMACY, SIGNS AND TRANSFORMATION. The address is 16800 W.9th Ave Golden, 80401. If we really believe that these days are significant, than we will need to engage more with the PERSON of Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) and honor our King by getting out of our comfort zones! Remember, we serve a triune God (Elohim), a Father, His only begotten Son Yeshua, and The Ruach that lives inside us. I am excited about this journey and know you will be blessed by this series! WE WILL HAVE A POTLUCK ONEG FOLLOWING THE SERVICE, SO BRING A DISH AND STAY FOR FELLOWSHIP!

A reminder, next Shabbat July 8th, we will have a Havdalah service at 5pm at our home! So, after the morning service, WE WILL NOT We will grill burgers and kosher hotdogs so please bring sides like potato/macaroni salads, green salads, fruit, beans (without pork!), chips and desserts and whatever else your heart desires to bring! These are great times of fellowship, food and closing out the Shabbat and getting us ready for the week ahead! When you come to our place, you will notice a blue dumpster on the left, please park in the spaces provided just north of it and across the way. Hopefully the weather will be nice and we can play some Horseshoes at the pit! We would encourage you to carpool down here, as it is a bit of a drive.

Also, many have asked how they can give through our different donation methods…You can go to our Or Chaim Congregation website https://www.or-chaim.com  and at MENU, go to GIVING AND TITHING and simply click the DONATE button and follow the prompts. Or you can text ‘orchaim’ to (833) 877-2788.  You may always send checks to 1658 Deer Creek Rd., Monument, Co. 80132

Again, we look forward to seeing all of you this Shabbat. I know it’s summer and many of us have travel and holiday plans, but it is SO important to gather together with the Mishpacha as often as you can! The writer of Hebrews states, "AND DO NOT NEGLECT OUR OWN MEETINGS, AS IS THE HABBIT OF SOME, BUT ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER — AND ALL THE MORE AS YOU SEE THE DAY APPROACHING.”

Blessings and Shabbat Shalom!
