Shabbat Nov 18, 2023

Shabbat Shalom!

As we approach Thanksgiving next week, I am always led to the last verse in the Psalms, “LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE ADONAI. HALLELUYAH!” Yes, Israel is in a time of war, many of us are struggling physically, and we are burdened that our families are not walking with Yeshua, but … we will PRAISE ADONAI because He is worthy! I know, and you do also, that our Redeemer lives and He will do what He has promised He will do! Take time this next week and count your blessings and give Him praise for WHO HE IS, and I guarantee you, you will experience great joy and BREAKTHROUGH!

This Shabbat we will be meeting at 11am at The Dwelling Place, 16800 W.9th Ave Golden, 80401. It is going to be an awesome service where, I believe, God is going to speak to all of us! I have prepared a message, but more importantly, Ruach HaKodesh will lead us into what He wants us to hear. WE WILL HAVE A POTLUCK ONEG FOLLOWING THE SERVICE, SO BRING A DISH TO SHARE AND STAY FOR FELLOWSHIP!

Everyone is encouraged to come out on this Sunday November 19th for a special event WE WONT BE SILENT, as we join in solidarity with the Jewish community to say WE ARE WITH YOU! It will take place at THE LEGACY CAMPUS IN LONE TREE, 10035 S. Peoria St. Lone Tree, 80134 at 3pm. This is an important event for the region but also for the Body of Messiah. In the 1930’s, when anti-semitism was rearing it’s ugly head in Europe, for the most part the Church was silent — and the result was the Holocaust where 6 million Jews and millions of others perished. This is not just an existential war between Israel and Gaza, but a war where God is saying  “I HAVE NOW COME AS COMMANDER OF ADONAI’S ARMY” (Joshua 5:14). We, as the Body of Messiah (Jew and Gentile) are called to stand with God’s people, it is NOT a time of neutrality or silence but to step up and engage in this Spiritual conflict as Israel fights the military conflict! Please do not share this event on social media, but only through word of mouth to those you know will be supportive! If you would like to volunteer for this event (greeters, intercessors, ushers etc.) please let me know and we will direct you to the right person. We look forward to seeing you all there!

Also, many have asked how they can give through our different donation methods…You can go to our Or Chaim Congregation website https://www.or-chaim.com  and at MENU, go to GIVING AND TITHING and simply click the DONATE button and follow the prompts. Or you can text ‘orchaim’ to (833) 877-2788. You may always send checks to 1658 Deer Creek Rd., Monument, Co. 80132.

Blessings and Shabbat Shalom!
