Shabbat June 22, 2019

Shabbat Shalom!

It’s hard to believe that Summer starts this week, it seems only yesterday it was winter! Last Shabbat, we had a special time in the Presence of the Holy One, as we sensed He wanted to minister to those with an “orphan spirit", who needed to be re-Fathered by the Heavenly Father, and also to the widows and those who needed gigantic breakthroughs in their lives. What a wonderful time as we celebrated Father’s Day!

This Shabbat, Spirit willing, I will share the 3rd part of a series on UNLEASHING ANCIENT SECRETS: EXERCISING AUTHORITY, where we will explore how in the realm of the Kingdom and His glory, we can tap into a wisdom that will be needed to stand in the difficult days ahead. The same power that enabled Daniel, David, Paul and Steven to stand and speak to the rulers of their day, is still available to us today! This goes right along with our theme for the year, Hineni, to make ourselves available to The Lord whenever He speaks to us, so that we can influence every situation we are in for the Kingdom of God!

JOIN US FOR A POT-BLESS ONEG FOLLOWING THE SERVICE, SO BRING A DISH TO SHARE AND STAY FOR SOME WONDERFUL FELLOWSHIP.

Hebrew class, dance practice and Torah Club are also taking place so come on out and join the Mishpacha!

June 29 Sally Klein O’Connor Messianic worship artist and international speaker will be with us for the Shabbat service. You won’t want to miss her incredible testimony and worship!

On Sunday, July 7th, we are looking forward to a picnic/outreach at Lions Park in the town of Golden. We are still in the planning stages for this, but we plan on having food, Messianic dancing and some acoustic music. A dear friend of ours from Israel, Avner Boskey, will probably be with us so come on out and lets enjoy the day and share our love of Yeshua with others! If you have some ideas and want to help in the planning, we will be having a meeting at Oneg this Shabbat to discus, feel free to join us!

Blessings and Shabbat Shalom!

Shabbat 6/15/2019

Shabbat Shalom Mishpacha!

This last week has been a powerful time for the Kingdom! First of all, I want to thank all of you who participated with the Shavuot events, intense prayer times, and joining together with other ministries and congregations! Last Friday, we had an incredible time of worship and intercession for Israel and the Jewish world at Resurrection Anglican in Greenwood Village. Churches from around Denver came together as we led an Erev Shabbat service and proclaimed God’s purposes for His chosen people...thank you Lynne for a powerful time of worship! On Shabbat we hosted Bill Bullock for the day and he brought forth some great teaching and impartation of the Aleph Tav vision we so need to reach this world. Our dance team blessed us with The Book Of Ruth, as David Aronstein recited the entire Megilla and dances were performed that brought this beautiful story to life! Shavuot in Central Park and 24 hours of “Passing The Torch” prayer as we joined with Gateway On Mt. Zion rounded out an amazing weekend. Again, thanks to all who participated! It was wonderful!

THIS IS FATHERS DAY WEEKEND SO WE WANT TO WISH ALL OUR FATHERS AND GRANDFATHERS AND BEYOND A HAPPY FATHERS DAY!

This Shabbat, June 15th, I will be continuing our series on UNLEASHING ANCIENT SECRETS as we explore how we can walk in authority when He “downloads” wisdom and revelation to us! Knowing this authority as well as the new identity we have will be crucial in being effective in the dangerous days ahead of us. Yes, God will use us to speak to those in power and He will tell us what we need to speak at that time.

WE WILL HAVE A POT-BLESS ONEG FOLLOWING THE MORNING SERVICE, SO BRING A DISH TO SHARE AND STAY FOR FELLOWSHIP! ALSO, TORAH CLUB WILL BE HELD AT THE LARSEN’S, 117 S.ROGERS WAY, GOLDEN, 80401 AT 3PM THIS WEEK.

Just a “heads up” as summer approaches we will be scheduling some times of fellowship/outreach in the park in the near future. We will let you know the dates as we will probably meet together on Sundays, at Lions Park in Golden. These will be fun times, but also get us out from inside the four walls and into the community! Music, dance, and food are what we are looking at. Stay tuned!

Blessings and Shabbat Shalom!

Shabbat Shalom! 6/8/19

Shabbat Shalom!

The theme of our recent Tikkun conference was “BREAKTHROUGH” a term that is often bantered around but not really understood in a Biblical context. We often believe it to be a “SUDDENLY” of God and often times it is. But I believe BREAKTHROUGH can also be a process over time where He leads us into new territories, new anointing, greater levels of trust and authority, etc. The walls of Jericho falling down was a breakthrough that began as a process starting with obedience to a seemingly crazy plan, walking through that strategy (literally!) and then seeing God do His thing for His glory! Millie and I truly believe that Or Chaim is in a BREAKTHROUGH season congregationally and for each of us individually and the Father wants to encourage us not to sit back and wait... but to press into Him and His word more fervently by praying with an urgency like you have never experienced!

This weekend is Shavuot, where we remember two great breakthroughs...the giving of Torah and the outpouring of the Ruach HaKodesh! This Shabbat June 8th we will have THE RABBI’S SON, BILL BULLOCK join us for our morning service and continue after our Oneg lunch with an afternoon session.WE WANT TO ENCOURAGE YOU NOT TO MISS THIS INCREDIBLE TEACHER OF TORAH!!  INVITE OTHERS TO THIS SPECIAL SERVICE! WE WILL HAVE A POT-BLESS ONEG FOLLOWING THE MORNING SERVICE SO BRING A DISH TO SHARE (extra to bless our visitors) AND STAY FOR THE FELLOWSHIP.

Erev Shabbat, Friday June 7th at 7pm, we will be leading a night of prayer for Israel and the Jewish world at Resurrection Anglican Fellowship in Greenwood Village as part of the 10 DAYS TOGETHER PRAYER INITIATIVE. It will be a wonderful evening as we welcome the Shabbat, join with other churches in the city, worship and pray for salvation and blessing the Jewish people! The address for Rez Anglican is 9250 East Belleview Ave. Greenwood Village. Hope to see you there!

On Sunday, June 9th from 10am-2pm, we will be gathering at Central Park in Stapleton for our annual SHAVUOT IN THE PARK with other congregations in the area coming together for fellowship, fun, dancing and inspiration in the Word Of God. Bring blankets and lawn chairs, your families (maybe an umbrella) and enjoy the day! There will be Hebrew National hot dogs until they run out, so come on out and enjoy with the greater Messianic Community. \

At 8:30pm on Sunday, we will be entering into a 24 hour period of prayer at the Church for one another and whatever God puts on our hearts to pray FOR UNITY AND BEING IN ONE ACCORD ! PASSING THE TORCH gives us an opportunity to come together in one accord by signing up for one hour time slots where we will pass the torch (literally!) from one hour to the next. There are still some slots available, so come on out and join us, and it is fine to have several people praying at the same time! Use this link to sign up:

https://m.signupgenius.com/#!/showSignUp/10c044ea8ac29a02-gateway/83068266

As you can see, there are many opportunities to bless others and to receive blessing. This is when BREAKTHROUGH occurs, just as when the Disciples were in an Upper room in Jerusalem, praying in one accord, and SUDDENLY … it happened! An event that changed the world took place, maybe a SUDDENLY to those who were there, but to God it was something that had been on His heart for all eternity and those men just made themselves available!

This will be a powerful time in the Presence of The Lord! Come and join us at this special Mo’ad (Appointed Time), and be expectant that Great things CAN and WILL happen, as we seek Him, not just the things He gives us!

Blessings and Shabbat Shalom!

Shabbat June 1, 2019

Shabbat Shalom! As I write this update, Millie, Lynne, D’Vorah and I are in Ellicott City, Md. attending our annual Tikkun conference. It has been a wonderful time of impartation, re-connecting, and renewing vision for the days ahead. I love this greater “Mishpacha” that God has placed us with! Thursday morning, Lynne led worship for our group and it was so powerful! The theme has been “Breakthrough”, which goes right along with what Father has been sharing with us at Or Chaim. It has been great catching up with old friends and establishing new relationships!
This Shabbat, June 1st, Kent Brown will be sharing the message that God has on his heart. I want to encourage you all to come out and enjoy the presence of The Lord and bless one another! THERE WILL BE A POT-BLESS ONEG FOLLOWING THE SERVICE, SO BRING A DISH AND STAY FOR FELLOWSHIP! Also, we will be having Biblical Hebrew in the morning, however Gateway on Mt Zion Church will be utilizing the whole church for events beginning at 3pm so contact Aaron about where or if Torah Club will be held. Dance practice will also need to end early this week.
Next weekend is Shavuot and there will be several activities to get involved in. I will be sending out more specific details early next week so stay tuned. On Friday evening, June 7th, we will be connecting with other churches at Resurrection Anglican in Greenwood Village for the 10Days Together prayer initiative. It will be an evening of welcoming the  Shabbat, worship, and praying for Israel and the Jewish people! All are welcome! On Shabbat, June 8th, we will welcome The Rabbi’s Son, Bill Bullock, to Or Chaim for our morning service, and will also have an afternoon session. That evening we will be joining with Roeh Israel for a time of celebration worship. On Sunday, June 9th, we will celebrate Shavuot at Central Park in Stapleton, from 10am-2pm. I will be sending more specific details in regards to the “Passing The Torch” initiative on Sunday through Monday. As you can see there are many opportunities to impact our community, I know it’s difficult to do everything, but ask Father what He would have you do!

Shabbat Shalom 5/25/2019

Shabbat Shalom!

This weekend is Memorial Day, a day in which our nation remembers those who paid the ultimate price so that we can enjoy the freedom that we have today. As we have learned, freedom is not automatic or passive but requires diligence and sacrifice because it can be eaten away by apathy, intolerance, anti-semitism and other things slowly over time. Then, one day you realize things are different and freedom is threatened! Galatians 5:1 says, “It was for freedom that Messiah set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject to a yoke of slavery. I want to encourage all of us who know our Messiah, to remember where He has brought us out from and to stand in the midst of His love and grace with thanksgiving and a fresh commitment to walk in His truth and His ways!

This Shabbat, May 25th, we will be continuing on our journey into discovering the ANCIENT SECRETS by exploring  the fact that WE NEED WISDOM!! It is not just about saying something that everyone will go, “wow, that was wise”, but actually looking at the connection between wisdom and the “exceedingly great power of God". The Prophets speak about an outpouring of wisdom in the end days, so let’s tap into it now!

WE WILL BE HAVING A POT-BLESS ONEG FOLLOWING THE SERVICE, SO BRING A DISH TO SHARE AND STAY FOR FELLOWSHIP!

Remember Shavuot will be coming up in a few weeks and there are some wonderful opportunities to celebrate this Feast Of The Lord this year!

on Friday evening, June 7th, we have been asked to participate with 10DAYS TOGETHER at Resurrection Anglican Church in Greenwood Village and usher in the Shabbat by leading worship and a Torah service! It will be a wonderful time of joining together to pray for His body and this nation and Israel!

On Saturday, June 8th, THE RABBI’S SON BILL BULLOCKwill be with us all day and you do not want to miss this incredible teacher of God’s Word...invite a friend! In the evening we will be joining together with Roeh Israel Congregation in Denver for a night of worship and praise!

On Sunday, June 9th, from 10am till 2pm we will gather for SHAVUOT AT CENTRAL PARK where we will be joining with several Congregations for fun, worship, food and encouragement together and I will be speaking. Come join us with your families as we support this local joint effort of Unity. That evening we will have a prayer gathering called PASSING THE TORCH where we at OCC will be joining with Gateway On Mt. Zion to pray for one another “ONE ACCORD” for our congregations and the efforts of unity in the city by releasing prayers, declarations and blessings to one another while passing the torch! This will be a 24 hour time of prayer, starting at 8:30 pm Sunday night, and going till 8:30pm on Monday. PLEASE SIGN UP FOR  1 HOUR SLOTS SO THAT WE CAN PASS THE TORCH FROM HOUR TO HOUR!
As you can see, there are many exciting things coming up! Also we have weekly Torah Club and Biblical Hebrew classes, so I want to encourage you to pray and ask what you are to be involved in. These are days of great trials and testings, and it is imperative that we be in His word, carrying His light in a dark world!
Blessing and Shabbat Shalom!

Shabbat Shalom 5/18/19

Shabbat Shalom!

One of my favorite verses in the New Testament is “FOR WE ARE HIS WORKMANSHIP - CREATED IN MESSIAH YESHUA FOR GOOD DEEDS WHICH GOD PREPARED BEFOREHAND SO WE MIGHT WALK IN THEM”.  If you have ever wondered why you are here on this planet to accomplish...here it is in plain sight! We are created to bless others and to do good works! So let’s do it! It really isn’t hard...it just requires a heart in tune to our Heavenly Father and a desire to obey what He says! The other day me and another pastor were leaving a meeting at a restaurant and  as we held the door for a woman walking in we both sensed she was in physical distress. I asked her if she was alright and she told me she had  been bitten by a tick. We asked if we could pray for her and she began to cry! The Lord led us to pray against Lyme disease or any infection she might have and that she would be completely healed. Our job is to respond to what we believe He says...His job is to do it!

This Shabbat May 18th at 10:30am we will be welcoming Stewart and Chantal Winograd to Or Chaim! We have known this awesome couple for many years and have followed them as they have ministered in Minsk, Belarus, Israel, and India. They have a powerful work among “the lost sheep of Israel” wherever they can be found, being faithful to the mandate of Romans 1:16, “to the Jew first …”. They recently took a bunch of Holocaust survivors from the former Soviet Union who had never been to Israel to the land which they so wanted to see before they left this earth! They will be sharing about this and so many other things that God is doing so you will not want to miss this service!

FOLLOWING OUR MORNING SERVICE, WE WILL BE HAVING A POT-BLESS ONEG.  BRING A DISH TO SHARE AND STAY FOR SOME WONDERFUL FELLOWSHIP!

As we are in the season of the “counting of the Omer”, I want to encourage you to be seeking the Lord for what your part is in the end day harvest. All of us have a calling and destiny to spread His kingdom love in our own unique way and it is at this time we are chosen to be light in a dark world and provide answers to those seeking truth. To facilitate your spiritual growth we offer a Hebrew class at 9am on Shabbat where you learn to read and write Biblical Hebrew in order to better understand the scriptures. Also, at 3pm on Shabbat we have our Torah Club where we study and discuss the portion of the week from the Torah.

"MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO PRESENT YOURSELF BEFORE GOD AS TRIED AND TRUE, AS AN UNASHAMED WORKER CUTTING A STRAIGHT PATH WITH THE WORD OF TRUTH” (2Tim.2:15).

We look forward to seeing you this Shabbat!

Blessings and Shabbat Shalom!

Shabbat Shalom 5/11/2019

Shabbat Shalom!

This last week has been an emotional one! For Israel and those who love her, It started with Yom HaShoah as we remembered 6 million Jews murdered by the Nazis, followed by over 700 rockets fired into Israel by Hamas where five Jewish lives perished and then just celebrated her 71st birthday. We as a Messianic community pray for Israel, support her financially, and serve the people there on a regular basis. At home here in Colorado another shooting in one of our schools became politicized as the students just wanted to mourn and remember their friend who gave his life to save others. Please continue to lift Israel and the Jewish people up and those in our own City and State before The Lord in these turbulent times, especially as anti-semitism and evil are raising their ugly heads once again. Let us be salt and light and bring life wherever and whenever we can as we represent our God and His Kingdom on earth.

This Shabbat, May 11th, I will be starting a series of messages on THE ANCIENT PATHS, and how we need to incorporate them into our lives to see God’s power and experience His blessing. What is it that the Jewish prophets and apostles knew that we need to tap in to? Are there things in Torah and Gods word that are so obvious that we easily miss them? I’m looking forward to this series!

WE WILL HAVE A POT-BLESS ONEG FOLLOWING THE SERVICE, SO BRING A DISH AND STAY FOR FELLOWSHIP!

Many exciting things are happening on ‘the mountain’, with Hebrew class, and Torah Club, and many other activities. Our desire is to grow as Yeshua’s talmidim (disciples), fully equipped and prepared to impact our culture and nation. We look forward to seeing you this Shabbat!
Blessings and Shalom,

Stewart and Millie

to all our Mothers we say...

Happy Mother’s Day Weekend!

Shabbat 5/42019

Shabbat Shalom!

The National Day of Prayer at the State Capitol on Thursday was powerful and anointed! Several hundred people gathered on the steps and proclaimed Yeshua is Lord over this City, State and Nation, and declared that God, and He alone, is able to change the atmosphere and direction of things. We prayed for families, government leaders, young people, media, and of course pastors/churches and congregations. There was an excitement and an elevation of faith as we sensed that God wants to do so much more than we can even imagine! This Shabbat, May 4th, I will be sharing the second part of a message we started last week entitled THE POWER OF DECLARATION, you don’t want to miss it! WE WILL BE HAVING A POT-BLESS ONEG FOLLOWING THE SERVICE, SO BRING A DISH TO SHARE AND STAY FOR SOME WONDERFUL FELLOWSHIP! Hebrew class of course will be at 9am, and Torah Club resumes after the Passover break at 3pm.

This Sunday, May 5th, there are a couple of Israel related events that we want to encourage you to be involved with. CELEBRATE ISRAEL WALK AND FESTIVAL will be at South High School, west lawn from 8:30am-1pm. This is a great opportunity to get to know the Jewish community here in Denver and show our solidarity with that nation and it’s people. Bring your Israel flags, and where your Israel tee shirts because its supposed to be a beautiful day! The MARCH OF REMEMBRANCE HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL event will be taking place at Babi Bar Park in Denver from 3pm-5pm. We have been participating in this event for many years as a way to REMEMBER AND RESPOND and to stand in opposition to the rising tide of anti-semitism beginning to show it’s ugly head once again! We will be hearing from a Holocaust survivor, as well as others at this very moving event. For both of these events, we encourage you to wear comfortable shoes, since they both will involve walking!

Again, I want to encourage all of us to be in prayer for the folks in the Congregation! There are some in need of complete healing from cancer (Mary, Paul), and others who need breakthrough and miracles THAT GOD IS MORE THAN ABLE TO DO! Remember what He spoke to us at the beginning of the year, HINENI!, be available to HIM and see the mighty things He will do!

Blessings and Shalom!

National Day of Prayer 5/2/2019 Denver Capital

Shalom!

At the beginning of the year, The Lord spoke clearly to us as a community, HINENI, which is more than just “here am I” but has a much deeper meaning, more like an offer of total availability. We are being invited by the Almighty God to participate with Him in bringing a nation back to Him! Thursday, May 2nd at 11am is the NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER, a day to PRAY FOR AMERICA, that was began in 1952 by President Harry Truman. Churches and Congregations from around the metro area will be gathering on the west steps of the State Capital to proclaim that Adonai is Lord and that He desires to continue to bless this nation! The theme of this year’s gathering is “LOVE ONE ANOTHER” (John 13:34), and what more fitting thing to do than join together as a faith community, seek Heaven’s strategies and call them down to Planet Earth in every aspect of our culture!

I want to encourage all of us, if at all possible, to come together for this important initiative. As I have shared many times in our services, our nation is at a very significant crossroads, where we are called as ‘Sons of God’ to speak truth, in love and humility, into our families, government, media, businesses, entertainment, schools etc. Several community leaders and Pastors have been invited to pray into these areas. I have been asked to pray specifically over churches/congregations and pastors, so I would very much appreciate your prayer for me as I prepare to do this. As we pray and declare publicly for these things, I would encourage all of us to individually commit to pray for the Spiritual condition of this country, for Alignment in the body of Messiah to it’s core Biblical values of righteousness, purity, integrity, and the honoring of life. Also, for the Church to come into greater revelation of their call to love Israel and the Jewish people and provoke them to jealousy for their Jewish Messiah! One more thing to pray for is security, and that any evil schemes for destruction or harm would be exposed!

The weather is supposed to be pleasant, with temperatures in the low 60’s, with no rain. the program will be from 11am-1pm, so I would encourage you to bring water and a folding chair if you cannot stand for the whole time. It is fine to bring banners and flags, shofars and of course your bibles! Parking at the Capital is not great, so leave early and there is free parking on side streets for 2 hour periods, also there is paid public parking close by. You can take Light Rail to Union Station, and then the 16th Street mall bus which is free and it will take you very close to the Capital. Look forward to seeing you all there!Blessings and Shalom!

Shabbat 4/27/2019

Shabbat Shalom!

Chag Sameach L’Pesach! Yes, it is still Passover and the Festival of Unleavened Bread as we have now entered the time of the Counting of the Omer. What an awesome evening we had last Friday as we celebrated our Seder, re-telling the amazing story of the Israelites deliverance from slavery in Egypt, and our deliverance from sin and death by the blood of Yeshua! The presence of The Lord was powerful as we worshipped our King, ate special foods, drank the four cups, laughed and fellowshipped with each other in a memorable evening. So many folks were involved in making this evening so special and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Millie will be returning from Israel this Friday so, believe me, I am a happy man, and if she’s not too jetlagged looks forward to sharing her amazing and productive journey to Israel!
This Shabbat, April 27th, I will begin a couple of messages on the POWER OF DECLARATION, and some of the objections that people have because of past abuses. Are declarations transformative, or just a bunch of religious babble? Let us look at what the Word Of God says! WE WILL HAVE A POT-LUCK ONEG FOLLOWING THE SERVICE, SO BRING A DISH TO SHARE AND STAY FOR FELLOWSHIP.
Next Thursday, May 2nd at 11am, I want to invite everyone to attend THE NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER, taking place at the State Capitol. The theme this year is LOVE ONE ANOTHER, and this is an opportunity for the entire church to come together, in unity, to pray for our government, families, media and entertainment, businesses, children and many other things. Churches and Congregations from all over the metro area will be joining together at the west steps of the capitol and proclaim that Yeshua (Jesus) is Lord of all! This event was first proclaimed in 1952 by President Truman as a way to mobilize public prayer for our nation. We will be blowing the shofar, and I have been invited to pray over Churches and Congregations! So I want to encourage all of you to come on out and pray with others so that the blessings on this country will continue!
Many other things are happening at Or Chaim! Hebrew study, Messianic dance, Torah Club all resume this Shabbat after the Passover break. There are many areas to get involved with Congregational life including worship, evangelism, audio-visual production, website maintenance and many other things! Please ask The Lord how you can serve and bless others! We look forward to seeing you this Shabbat!Blessings and Shabbat Shalom!Stewart and Millie

Shabbat 4/13/2019

Shabbat Shalom!

Wow, Tuesday it was 80 degrees and on Wednesday I had 3-4 inches of snow on my deck! Welcome to Colorado! We do love the Spring here, but I do sense people are getting tired of winter hanging on and are ready for some warm temperatures. The Father has been speaking to me recently about honor and respect, and more specifically, the “coarseness” of our culture and it’s deterioration over the last several decades. How do we change the atmosphere in the culture? It has to start in the body of Messiah first! This Shabbat, April 13th, I want to share my heart about RESTORING A CULTURE OF HONOR AND RESPECTand how it needs to start with us. The presence of the Ruach (Spirit) has been powerful lately in our services (not that it isn’t always!), and God has been doing some wonderful things, so come on out and join us! THERE WILL BE A POT-LUCK ONEG FOLLOWING THE SERVICE.
Passover is just around the corner, Friday April 19th at 6pm! There are a few tickets left (not many), so go on the website and get them now at: www.Or-Chaim.com and press on the events page and make your purchase. As we have been saying, this will be an awesome and fun celebration, as we share the “Haggadah” (the story), enjoy the elements of the Seder, sing Dayenu, and eat a fabulous catered meal! There will be dancing and worship and some great fellowship, and you don’t want to miss it. WE WILL NOT BE HAVING OUR MORNING SHABBAT SERVICE ON APRIL 20TH! PLEASE SHARE THIS INFORMATION BECAUSE WE DON'T WANT FOLKS SHOWING UP ON THE MOUNTAIN, WE WON’T BE THERE!
This is an exciting season, and the Kingdom of God is advancing greatly in these days. Part of the reason I know this is because so many of you are experiencing tough battles and attacks, which coincide with imminent breakthrough. Also, the Scriptures tell us about these days and that we should not fear but walk in His shalom! Be encouraged and stay grounded in Him!Pray for Millie and the team that she is with right now in Israel, They are now in the Negev desert and are connecting with Jewish and Arab Believers in the land!Shalom and Blessings!Stewart and Millie

Shabbat 4/6/2019

Shabbat Shalom!

We have been sharing with you over the recent weeks that there has been a perceptible increase in anti-semitic activities in our nation. We have seen it in our U.S.Congress, and now we are seeing it in our own city. A couple of days ago someone spray painted a swastica just above the cornerstone at Church In The City/ Beth Abraham. As I shared last week, it is time to step up the intercession and fasting for our city and this nation! The time of complacency and apathy is over, The accuser has stepped up his strategy and it is certainly time for the body of Messiah to walk in truth and love to confront his schemes! This Shabbat, April 6th, I will wrap up our series on the New Covenant, as we explore the freedom we have in it! Actually, the liberty we have in the Messiah as we pursue the Torah of God, is the opposite of religion, because it leads to intimacy, not just keeping rules and checking the right boxes! You know, we are just a few weeks away from Passover, the first major Feast of the year, and I sense that at these times as the Jewish people search the scriptures, their hearts are very tender to the Messiah so pray that the veil would be lifted as they search their scriptures!
WE WILL HAVE A POT-LUCK ONEG FOLLOWING THE SERVICE, SO BRING A DISH TO SHARE, AND STAY FOR SOME WONDERFUL FELLOWSHIP. It has been so good seeing all the folks staying for dance practice at 2pm. It is lots of fun, as they prepare for Passover and also special events coming up, Thank you David and Laura! Also, Kent has been doing an amazing job teaching Biblical Hebrew faithfully at 9am! Following Oneg, at 3pm, we have our Torah Club where we study the portion of the week, and have great discussions as we learn to walk in the Torah of God!
