Shabbat, July 16

What a week! Terror, senseless violence, corruption in government at the highest levels being revealed, evil is exalted and morality is considered intolerant and bigoted.... I was led to read Psalm 2 this morning: "why are the nations in an uproar ...? It goes on to say that He will not be mocked and that He actually laughs at men's plans! The Psalm ends by saying, "How blessed are all who take refuge in Him"! Join us this Shabbat, July 16th at 10:30, as we set apart this special day to worship the King of Kings and "Shema" His word. I will be sharing a message on the power of blessing, and how blessing is the currency of the Kingdom of God! Also, we will see that we were made to worship the Creator and that blessing flows from this. We will be having a potluck Oneg following the service, so bring a favorite dish and enough to share.  Remember, we will be starting our Shabbat school on September 10th for our children! If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Tina Moore.  Shabbat Shalom and we look forward to seeing you!
