Shabbat December 3, 2016

Shabbat Shalom Mishpacha!

I am so ready for Shabbat! It's a rehearsal of the Messianic age, when we will be with Yeshua for all eternity, and rest in His wonderful presence! It's a time where we worship God and He blesses us with His presence, and we also fellowship with our spiritual family. Join us this Shabbat, at 10:30am as we study Torah and hear the Word of God.

Have you ever experienced frustration in your prayer life? Ever felt that your prayers hit a brass ceiling and went no further? I have! The Lord is leading me into exploring the ancient ways, including how to have an effective and fruitful prayer life. This Shabbat we will begin to look at ancient keys to answered prayer. How do we approach the Father in prayer? Is prayer on the battlefield or in a courtroom, or both? Join us as we explore the discipline, and indeed, lifestyle of prayer.

We will be having a potluck Oneg following the service, so bring a favorite dish (with food on it!) and enough to share.

Tonight, December 2nd, is a city-wide prayer service at Congregation Roeh Israel, starting at 7pm, as we join together to pray for our nation. All are invited! God has commanded us to pray for our leaders, so let's do it! They need kingdom wisdom in these dangerous days, so let's stand in the gap on their behalf.

Chanukah is coming up in a few weeks, so stay tuned for information in regards to the happenings around the Feast of Dedication!

Shabbat Shalom!
